Whoopie Pies

I got this recipe from Sister Turner in the Florence Mississippi ward. It's so good...you can't eat just one :)

2 pkgs Betty Crocker Devil Food Cake Mix
1 1/2 cups Crisco Shortening
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Blend all ingredients and roll into balls
Place a few inches apart and bake on 350 10 minutes

Filling: 1/2 pkg cream cheese
1 pound and a little more of powdered sugar
1 stick butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla

Place filling in between 2 cookies....and whoopie! they are good :)
