Chocolate Bread Pudding

3 cups dry French Bread cubes
1 cup milk
1 cup light cream
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Combine bread cubes, milk and cream. Let stand 15 minutes. Stir twice.
In medium bowl, mix sugar, eggs, chocolate, butter and vanilla.
Add egg mixture to bread mixture.
Stir gently.
Pour into buttered 1-quart souffle dish.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
