Southern Pecan Pie

If you have never tried this southern delight...you should! I would make a bet that it will be in your "favorite pie" category after you are finished. Top this off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and mmm-mmm-...:)

1 cup Karo syrup
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs, beaten
3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped

mix all ingredients in a bowl with a spoon
Pour into your favorite pie crust
bake on 325 in preheated oven for 50 min- 1 hr.

serve warm or cool.
